The first Electronics Goes Green (EGG: https://electronicsgoesgreen.org/) went live with different sessions, workshops and networking areas. EERA contributed to the online conference, on September 1. Link to EGG website.
The online conference was very well organised and the program was challenging. EERA contributed to the pre-recorded sessions: Chris Slijkhuis was the presenter of Fast Tracks: a requirement for a Circular Economy of Electronics Wastes within the EU. All presentations given are still available for participants of the conference. In case you did not register and you are interested in the EERA presentation, please use the following link: https://youtu.be/0wScG2WAuII. This presentation will give you a full update on the North Sea Resources Roundabout – Fast Track Notification. This project works on a concept that is currently discussed widely, which would facilitate recyclable wastes to move between compliant recycling companies within the EU much more easily. The Circular Economy Action Plan simply shouts for simplifications in these waste shipment rules.
